Time to time, on Jorie Loves A Story, there will be bookish events featured on this blog! To help make it a bit easier to keep up with the Book Cover Reveals, Author Interviews, Author Guest Posts, Book Tour Stops, and the books received in exchange for an honest review which alight on my blog, I thought it would be best to create a page specifically to serve as a one-stop archive for easy access!
I am always striving to make Jorie Loves A Story fully cross-referenced to achieve this goal!
This is a companion page to my sidebar slideshow & promo area:
Book Blogger | Book Cheerleader ‘proudly hosting’ where you can click on the badges per blog touring company and/or publisher I regularly host on Jorie Loves A Story. You will be visiting their websites and getting to know a bit more about the stories I love to read.
*NOTE*: IF you see “Interview or Q&A”, I have submitted Questions of which have been responded back with personal answers of the person I am interviewing. Likewise, Guest Posts are given a topic to discuss of my own choosing.

Due to a personal loss, I lost the ability to read and blog for most of January.
After approx. a week and a half, I was able to carry forward from whence I left off whilst feeling quite blessed that I was able to recapture my joy of both reading and blogging as my heart healed.

I’ve been participating in #HistoricalFix *before!* it was even named! Now, it’s expanded into a ‘book club’ (details) and ‘film club’ (Poldark) wherein the first two literary selections are:
- The Violinist of Venice by Alyssa Palombo (my library purchase request!)
- Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walter (borrowed as well!)
#HistoricalFix is where you get to chatter amongst the bookish who are as passionate about historical fiction as you are whilst conversing with the authors who write the stories too! Although this isn’t a ‘blog event’ on Jorie Loves A Story, it’s an event that Jorie wants to help get the word out about and encourage new #HistFict readers to join!

Despite taking time away from my blog whilst I recovered from a tragic loss, after I read and reviewed a few books, I simply felt I needed to take a respite away from everything online. My heart simply wasn’t into reading nor reviewing; therefore I retreated offline and allowed my knitty heart to help me heal further by surrounding myself with yarn and UFOs (Unfinished Objects). It was a time well spent as it allowed me to return in early February with better clarity and a renewal of joy for the books awaiting my eyes.

#ChocLitSaturdays Continues!
I personally *love!* serial fiction, and as you will start to notice, my focus on ChocLit serial fiction is going to be increasing tenfold! Especially within the first selections of what I am focusing on reviewing, as The Wild One is the second in the Coorah Creek series; The Scarlet Kimono begins the Kumashiro Series whereas The Silver Locket begins the Charton Minster series set during the World War era (as I quite fancy a well-writ war drama!). Concurrently, I will be reading a second series by Ms Courtenay and the other half of her duology; as revealled below this listing of my next ChocLit reads!

Erasing my Backlogue of Reviews:
A New Year is a second-chance to redeem the hours lost,
to reclaim the stories of #SRC2015 + #ReadingIsBeautiful + #FRC2015;
as well as a few Summer Blog Tours from BookSparks.
To see why January did not pan out well for reading, read Two Years, Two Cats.
I also saw a return of my chronic migraines (March & April), which did not help my quest to read the stories. I read one story after the other, whilst sharing my thoughts on each one in turn.
Read my End of the Year Survey, 2015 to find out more.
The books I’m reading:
I am grateful to a publicist I reached out to in January who helped me sort out the best way to read and review all the lovely books I selected to host on my blog. She gave me the ‘key’ which was quite simple once I saw the advice: reverse the order whilst reading Fall then Summer! #sohappy!
