— Jorie Loves A Story (@JLovesAStory) November 3, 2014
I had the forethought to start carving out what I wanted to do for Sci Fi November at the end of Summer, but due to unexpected interruptions we all experience time to time in our lives, I have unfortunately started a bit late in my active participation this year! I have a full schedule of events I am putting together to share with everyone and I am most anxious to see your thoughts & comments populate my comment threads! I look forward to the conversations & I appreciate your patience whilst I was able to work out the technical issues I was experiencing with my computer during the first week of Sci Fi November!
I have been actively tweeting & sharing a lot of #RRSciFiMonth love on Twitter; if you see me favouring your tweets and/or randomly tweeting the tag for the event, know that I started when you guys did on the 1st! I am going to be back-blogging & releasing posts meant to run during the first week whilst continuing to move forward ahead on schedule for the rest of the month!
Here’s to celebrating science fiction!
And, before I release my post on being a Fantasy Girl at Heart, please note I have included focus tracks on Fantasy as they tend to run concurrent to my wanderings in science fiction especially when real-life science fact is interwoven into science fiction thrillers (in the case of Paul Mark Tag’s series) or where science fiction & fantasy start to bleed into each other in a new sub-genre for “Sci-Fantasy” (in the case of C.A. Gray’s Piercing the Veil series).
I am quite eager to celebrate not only the month on my blog but to continue to tweet out love for other participants whilst I make my rounds through the book blogosphere! I might be the Sci Fi November Tortoise but I am chuffed to be amongst such wonderfully wicked company! Here’s to us!
I am continuing the project I started during SFN: 2013 therefore there are references back to last year’s event threaded throughout my SFN: 2014 participation! (Full Archive of SFN: 2013)

I appreciate your patience and I hope you will continue to enjoy what I am going to be showcasing & celebrating!

As usual you are super dedicated Jorie, so glad to have you back on board again! :) And I know how it feels to be overloaded, uni is keeping me busy and I am so behind on commenting on SFM posts…
Thanks for dropping by Rinn! :)
I was hoping to see some SFN comment love! :) Goodness — I simply LOVE the event you’ve put together for all of us to share our passion for sci-fi and of course, this year, as I start to read Sci-Fantasy, I’m bringing my love of Fantasy, as both genres tend to walk hand in hand for me in different ways! :) I need to start visiting more SFN blogs myself & leave comments! I’ve been doing a bit of SFN reading but like you, my hours escape me too fast this month! Thanks for all the beautiful encouragement you’ve always given me & for being a sci-fi cheerleader to everyone who takes part in SFN! Between you & Asti, the event is doubly special this year! :)
