During Sci-Fi November, Jorie of Jorie Loves A Story is going to captialise on her introduction to the “Steampunk” sub-genre of science-fiction, first arriving on this blog, through the August event “The Clockwork Carnival“. I am thrilled to be taking part in such a stellar event, as my passion for science-fiction was instilled inside me from quite a young age, as I grew up watching coveted re-airings of the original “Star Trek” with my Dad! He would purposely ‘tape’ the airings whilst he was at work, so that we could go back through the ‘tapes’ and see everything together when the time was better suited to us! I’ll be discussing my life-long passion for this wicked sweet genre in a posting entitled: Seventeen to Seven: One Girl’s Quest for Sci-Fi! When I first learnt of this event happening, I saw the banner that is waving proudly above (as much as has been on my sidebar since *September!*) included in Bookish Whimsy‘s sidebar! Curious, I immediately clicked over and saw that this event still needed contributors, and who am I to delay such an immediate response!? The following is what developed after I initially knew that I had to take part in an event that celebrates my passion for all-things sci-fi! This event is hosted by: Rinn of Rinn Reads!
